Historically, its distinctive character was formed during the long voyages by sailing ships from India to Europe.

History:
Initially, Malabar coffee developed its unique flavor profile during long maritime journeys to Europe, exposed to monsoon winds. Modern techniques now intentionally replicate this monsooning process, preserving the coffee’s traditional characteristics.
